The full broadsides striking the Scimater relentlessly.

"Captain, her turbobatteries are upgraded versions normally reserved for Palieon Class ships."

"Concentrate on taking out their fighters support. Get ours into position to bombard them."

The large ship shuddering with blows as it moves to return fire on the other ships.

"Sir, the Venator has closed it's hanger bays and is moving to flank us sir. She is opening up with turbobatteries as well."
"Sir another wave have come out of hyperspace, more fighters and ......"

"Spit it out, what are we facing?"

"Frigates Sir, lots of them, thirty-nine with supporting ships as well."

"Get Fleet Control, tell them the situation here. I need the fighter support from the moonbase here now."

"Sir, the fighters that just came in with the Frigates are the same makes as those the Venator launched. All ships in that wave are showing as LRE ships."

"By the Force, how did they grow so large? All of our intelligence on them dictated there were never more than ten ships at any one time, including fighters."

"Another wave coming out of hyperspace Sir. More frigates, medical clbutt and med-lifters. Looks like they have older fighters flying protection detail for them."

"Sir, the Crusader and Sentinel reversed positions, the Venator is covering the other's fighter launch. They are more of the new design. Sir, I think they mean to board us, the Venator is firing it's interdictor batteries at us.

"Go ahead Scimater."

"We need immediate fighter support from Luna Base."

"Negative Scimater, Luna Base is currently under attack. Other fighters are enroute."
"Orders are to hold position."

"What other assets are available? Fleet Control."

"All capital assets are currently engaged."

Hearing the young Ensign give him Fleet Control's words, the Captain is furious.
"Who in the hells allowed this to happen? Why weren't we notified of the Luna Base attack?
"Keep all batteries firing."

"Incoming transmission from approaching fighters," chuckling slightly, "they are offering to allow us to surrender."

"Commander, their hanger bay doors are opening again." Says Vanessa's melodic voice over the comm.

"I see it, Will, take Tom and fly down their forward row of turbolasers and pull the teeth from this Agra. Jessica take the starboard hanger bay. I'll take the port. Try to fire a spread of torpedoes into their bay. That should end their fighter support. Regroup on the SD's stern." Hearing her wingmates acknowledgments, Nadia moves wide of the Scimitar to line up a shot with the ships port hanger bay.

Flipping her lasers to rapid fire, she opens up her blue-white bolts upon the first three ships to exit the hanger bay watching them explode. Before any more ships can escape in to the void to join the battle, Nadia's targeting computer gets a lock and she fires two red streaking proton torpedoes in the hanger bay.

A mbuttive explosion rocks the ship on the port side just seconds before another equally large explosion rocks the starboard side.

"Starboard hanger bay neutralized. Missed the two eyeballs that got out before I fired. They're on my tail!" Exclaims the blonde beauty of Angel Squadron as she barrel rolls the enemy blaster fire away from her.

"Full thrust to the rear of the ship, Nessa. I'll take care of them." Hearing the double-click acknowledgment Nadia pushes the boosters to full thrust and speeds around aft port section.

"Forward batteries are fragged." Says Will as he and Tom pbutt around the bridge tower.

Vanessa having a tough time keeping her ship from being fried manages to deflect the bulk of the fire directed at her by the two angry Imperial pilots. "Hurry up, Nadia. I'm getting baked!"

Suddenly the two eyeballs on Vanessa's tail explode as Nadia rounds the ship and gets a target lock, blasting them into dust.

"Thanks Commander. Shields are down to 77% but are regenerating."

The Seraphs fly out several kilometers away from the stern of the Star Destroyer resuming their diamond formation. Maintaining formation, the four members of Angel Squadron complete an Immelmann turn and boost back towards the unprotected engines.

"Everyone take one of the smaller sub-light engines. When we prepare to disengage away from the ship, launch torpedoes into the hyperdrive engine."

Each of the revolutionary starfighters lines up on the sub-light engines and opens up rapid fire blue-white bolts.

The ships rocks violently for several moments. As the bridge crew manages to get back into their seats though the Captain having seen many fierce battles remains solid as the mountain stone in the Captain's chair.

"Damage report!"

"Shields are down to 40%. The sub-light engines are offline. Hanger bays two and three are destroyed with most of the remaining fighter and support craft. Most of the turbolaser batteries are gone."

The ship rocks again as the bridge lights go out and are replaced by the emergency lights. In the red glow the Captain sees that several consoles have blown killing his navigator and grinds his teeth in anger.

"Incoming transmission from approaching fighters," chuckling slightly, "they are offering to allow us to surrender."

"SURRENDER! They are four starfighters. I have never surrendered and I'll be damned if I start now. Put me on, NOW!" The comm clicks on, one the few things still working. "This is Captain Halloway of the Imperial Cruiser Scimitar, who am I addressing?"

"This is Commander Nadia Lombardi of the L.R.E. Captain, your ship is disabled. No more deaths need to occur. Surrender and you and your crew will be treated fairly."

"The hell I will. My crew and I will fight you scum to the last!" Spits the infuriated Captain as he cuts the connection.

"Sir, I've got partial power to one sub-light engine but the shields are down to 20% and the weapon systems are off line. Sir, with all due respect, the enemy pilot was right. We should surrender before we all die."

"You traitor! Get the hell off my bridge before I throw you in the brigg."

The young Ensign stands from his station and looks around at the surviving bridge crew. Each officer nods, stands, and begins following the young Ensign off the bridge towards the escape pods, leaving Captain Halloway alone on his bridge.

"Only two more weeks till retirement." Laments the Captains. "Well if I have go, I'll go down fighting." The frustrated Imperial Captain opens up an comm. "Commander Lombardi."

"Have a change of heart, Captain?

"I may be going Hell but I'm taking your friends with me!" The Captain jumps to the navigation station and sets the ship on a collision course with the Sentinel and puts the damaged engines to full burn.

"He's lost his mind. Tom. Will. Take out the remaining shield generators. Vanessa and I will hit the engines again to try to slow this crate down."

Tom and Will break formation to follow Nadia's latest order. Nadia and Vanessa swing around the burning hulk and pelt the single active but sputtering engine with blue-white bolts.

"Commander, how are we going to stop this crate when we finish this engine?" Comes the melodic but concerned voice of Vanessa over the comm.

"Locar is aware of situation. They are preparing a tractor beam to stop the ship but we have to disable the engines. Look the crew is abandoning ship" Dozens of escape pods jettison from the burning Star Destroyer. "Eddie can only detect one lifeform left on the ship. It would seem the Captain is determined to go down with the ship."

The sub-light engine gives out just as the remaining shield generators explode leaving the ship defenseless. The Crusader and Sentinel activate their tractor beams bring the ship to a rest, completely dead in space save for emergency lights and life support.

Nadia's comm activates, Who the hell are you?

"We're Angel Squadron. Your bridge crew has contacted Admiral Windu and surrendered on your behalf, Captain. He'll be dispatching a shuttle to pick you up. For what it's worth, your crew fought valiantly."

"Thank you, but cancel the shuttle. There isn't anyone alive left on the ship." Before Nadia can respond the sound of a blaster is heard as the comm goes dead.

Sighing at the senseless loss, Nadia opens up the private comm to her squadron. "All ships report."

"Captain, whose R-Wings are those engaging in the atmosphere?" queries Nadia as she lines her squadron up for an intercept of the Annihilators coming up from the surface.

"That's the Demonhead Defense Squadron, Commander."

"Demonhead," she mutters to herself, "who is in command of them and why don't I know about them?"

Over his secure direct comm to her, "Ma'am they are the DDS that Locar referred to in the briefing yesterday. He formed them up a few months ago under Major Reisman."
"They get two years off their time for this battle."

"Their time?" A puzzled Nadia queries.

Sighing knowing how Locar didn't want her knowing the details unless necessary.
"Ten years each for guranteened retirement and their families taken care of in return for undying loyalty. All of them are wanted for Capital Offenses with the Empire. They piggybacked the Frigates in. They are supporting Commander Lobo's ground attack."

"Lobo's ground attack?!"

"The Admiral is pulling no punches, ma'am. The only reason I know is because Beth made sure our fighters had their IFF programmed."

"Grrrr."
Flipping a switch back to full comm with her squadron, "All Units engage in formation at will, by the twos people."

The Angel Squadron dives in formation for the atmosphere to join the wild melee of fighters skimming along it.

Thinking to herself, 'Why bring them in this, they have no discipline. They will be destroyed.

"Timing is everything, Nadia. Timing. Their disarray brings theirs, than your perfection of discipline breaks their back......."


The deafening pause worrying her, "Locar what is it?

Cade fights Krayt, so many dead in the Temple. Do not dare land, I do not want raise your orphans.
Take out their fighters, they are the danger. Our pickets are engaged.

She could feel his strength ebbing even as he sent the last words.
'I knew he would have trouble lasting the battle stretching as he was, but I can still hear his commands and nudges.'
Than a true worry crosses her mind, her conversation with Daveron how Locar would push himself to the brink to win this one.

Moving into position, Lobo and his troops can already see the Jedi fully engaged at the Temple.

Lieutenant Artemis "Artie" Vorthos is a young ace pilot, veteran of several major battle and recently promoted to the elite Nessus Squadron of new Rancor clbutt TIE fighter, the mbutt production version of the TIE Experimental Mark 2. Barely fifteen minutes earlier he was at his younger sister's wedding when the planetary alarms sounded followed by his comm going off and his commanding officer calling him to active duty to defend the Empire from a rebel invasion.

"Artie, what's going on?" Demands the embarrbutted bride.

"My commander just called me to in, Krystal. The Alliance is attacking. I'm needed in the air to defend the planet and the Empire."

"Good luck and show those rebel scum what the Vorthos family is made of." Hugging and kissing her brother on the cheek.

"I'll be back soon enough. Stay safe." He turns to head to his speeder.

"Just come back alive." She shouts to her rapidly departing brother.

"You can count it!" He calls back as he exits the church.

Lt. Vorthos sitting behind the controls of the ship that has enough fire power to nearly bring a Star Destroyer to it's proverbial knees, powers up the engines and blasts off with his squadron towards the space battle.

"Get ready boys and girls. I'm reading that new clbutt of fighters moving fast towards the planet. They have weapons comparable to ours but they have unmatched speed and maneuverability, don't give them any quarter for they will surely show none."

"Roger that, Captain." Says the young Lieutenant as he readies his light turbolasers.

Nessus Squadron leaves the atmosphere of Coruscant and enters the starry blackness of space. But space above the capital of the Sith Empire isn't it's usual traffic congested space ways of the norm, as Fleets from Fel's Empire, Stazi's Galactic Alliance, and others are turning their mbutted might upon the Imperial Navy. Barely does Nessus Squadron leave the atmosphere when they encounter then sleek silver and blue fighter's of Admiral's Windu's L.R.E.

"Watch it, they are being led by the 'Angel of Death' herself! They've already taken out the Scimitar." Calls out the squadron leader.

Lieutenant Vorthos recalls the file he read on the infamous "Angel of Death" as she's been come to known through out the starfigher corp. A perfect genetic clone of Leia Organa-Solo, this Nadia Skywalker as she calls herself, is a powerful Jedi and until recently had an enormously outrages bounty on her head placed by none other than Emperor Krayt himself. Credited as one of the most elite fighter pilots in the galaxy, Nadia Skywalker has never been bestest in atmospheric or space combat even when out numbered by daunting odds. Having been credited as a minor design contributor to the new rebel fighter of the L.R.E. the Seraph clbutt, R-wing. This revolutionary next generation fighter is capable of startling speed and maneuverability while still having enough power to it's weapon systems to make even the most experienced Star Destroyer captain give full attention to a flight of four with searing blue-white lasers streaking in.

If I can bring down this 'Angel of Death', then I'll be known throughout the galaxy as a hero of the True Empire and I owe it to Captain Halloway that I avenge him. Thinks Artemis. Activating his scanners, he tries to locate the infamous L.R.E. pilot. Without much effort, the scanner easily finds the R-wing he seeks. "Captain, I see their leader. I'm moving to engage." Artemis says over the private comm of Nessus Squadron, as he breaks formation and pushes his fighter to max thrust towards his target.

"Stay together Lieutenant, that's an order!" Shouts the leader of Nessus Squadron over the comm.

"Commander, heads up! You've got a bogey coming at you, full burn!" Say Nadia's wingman, Vanessa.

"I see him. Angel's take out that new group of fighters coming up from the surface, I'll handle the hot shot." Hearing the acknowledgments from her squadron, Nadia breaks formation and boosts towards the latest threat.

Nadia's comm activates over the broadband frequency, "I'm coming for you Angel of Death. I'll avenge Captain Halloway!"

"The Captain took his own life instead of surrendering. Don't make the same mistake."

"LIAR!" The anger evident in his voice. His weapons set to full auto-fire, Lt. Vorthos lines up the silver and blue next generation fighter and unleashes his light turbo lasers.

Sighing, Nadia goes into a Aileron roll causing the G-Diffuser to augment the shields to deflect the turbo laser fire instead of absorbing the punishing energies. Nadia continues to fly by the attacking TIE, flying so close that both ships pbutt withing in 5 meters of each other. Through their respective canopies, the two pilots look into the eyes of other. Nadia sees only seething rage, while Artemis sees only his next kill.

Lt. Vorthos turns his ship hard to port to try to get behind the ship of the 'Angel of Death'. Nadia seeing her opponents maneuver tries to compensate but ends up with the enemy on her tail. He's good. Nadia thinks to herself. Few pilots could manage to slip in behind me. He flies like Tom, on shear instinct. Suddenly a jolt shudders through her ship as her opponent managed to learn her timing with her deflecting Aileron rolls.

"You're good, but I'm better.

"One lucky shot doesn't make you better." Says the young Jedi Master as she pulls her Seraph into a loop trying to out maneuver her determined pursuer.

You can't lose me that easily, I will see you burn." Following the looping sleek fighter.

Nadia begins to swerve her Seraph back and forth, maintaining the Aileron rolls as much as possible but even the most experienced pilots can lose their spacial awareness if the Aileron roll is over used. Another jolt rocks her ship. Shield strength down to 77%. "Eddie it's time we take this guy out. I want you to prepare to pull that maneuver we practiced."

Nadia continues to make Aileron rolls but decreases her thrust allowing the enemy to close in on her tail.

"I have you now. Know that it was Lt. Artemis Vorthos that brought down the infamous 'Angel of Death'." Nadia's scanners begin to sound as a missile lock's being attempted. Feigning a damaged engine Nadia continues to slow as, her would be killer get a target lock. Just as Lt. Vorthos moves his thumb to the missile launch button, Nadia angles her Seraph up thirty degrees and boost slightly gaining several meters of altitude as she cut the main thrusters and Eddie fires maneuvering thrusters bring the ship into a somersault as Lt. Vorthos flies underneath the somersaulting ship losing his missile lock.

Realigning her ship behind the TIE Experimental and reigniting her engines, Nadia fires her lasers clipping the TIE's stabilizing wing shearing one off. The TIE loses control and begins to feel the effects of the planet's gravity and is pulled down in the atmosphere. You bitch! This can't be happening! Her comm goes to static as he enters the planets upper atmosphere.

Shaking her head, Nadia moves to rejoin the battle with the rest of squadron. "Regenerate the shields Eddie. We have work to do."

His world spinning out of control, Lt. Vorthos tries to regain control of his damaged TIE. "Come on! Come on! Level out, damn you." He pleads with the malfunctioning equipment as every imaginable alarm sounds in the tallwhackerpit. The TIE, missing one of it's stabilizing wings, continues to spin with the shields beginning to buckle from the friction strain on the ship as it re-enters the planet's atmosphere. The interior temperature begins to rise to dangerous levels. Sweating profusely, Lt. Vorthos begins to see spots in his vision from the rising temperature. Just before he would black out, the ship finally gets past the point that the atmospheric friction heats entering material. The ship life support compensates for the increased heat and cools the tallwhackerpit bringing Lt. Vorthos awake with a fresh surge of adrenaline.

The ship has taken severe damage, but remains operational. Regaining control but with reduced maneuverability, Lt. Vorthos pulls up his position on his scanners and stares in disbelief at how far he's been propelled around the planet. Realizing that he needs to start back if he has any chance to claim his revenge upon the 'Angel of Death', Lt. Vorthos powers up the damaged engine and set course back while determining which systems were damaged. Manuverability reduced by 50%. Shields down to 10%. Port turbolaser destroyed. Missile launcher operating at 75% - Warning possibility of jamming. With a sigh, Lt. Artemis Vorthos sets course for the last position his sensors registered for the 'Angel of Death'.

Having dealt with the irate Imperial TIE pilot and sending him and his craft plummeting towards the planet, Nadia Lombardi finds herself being targeted by half the irate pilot's remaining squadmates. Using every evasive manuver that she's ever learned, and a few she's just made up, Nadia finds herself being targeted by six Rancor-Clbutt TIE fighters.

"Angels, I've got six boogies on my tail and I can't shake them."

"We've love to help you, Commander. But these guys are good. Were all locked down. These guys seem upset about you taking that reckless pilot down." Says Capt. Paris.

"Damn right. Today the Angel of Death finally falls." Boasts the Nessus Squadron Leader.

Nadia continues to do rapid Aileron rolls taking minimal damage from her pursuers. But even deflecting 90% of all the turbolaser blasts, the damage adds up as Nadia's spacial awareness begins to falter. Shields down to 65%. Nadia's scanners sounds with five simultaneous missile locks. Having a hard time centering herself after the fifteenth consecutive Aileron rolls, Nadia instictifully pulls an Immelmann turn breaking the missile lock. Unable to track her six pursuers while avoiding their fire, Nadia finishes Immelmann turn and boosts away from the five and straight into her sixth pursuer, Nessus 1. The TIE opens achieves missile lock and fires straight at Nadia's Seraph.

"Time to die, Bitch!" Exclaims the Nessus Squadron Leader has he sends six concussion missiles screaming towards Nadia seeking her death.

"Noooooooooooooo!" Screams Tom over the comm as he watches the specter of death close in on his wife and mother of his children He turns and boosts his engines beyond anything they've ever endured, but knowing that he'll be too late to save his doomed beloved.

Moments before death finds the daughter of Jedi Master Jack Ares, four of the missiles explode from an oversized laser blast. Seeing her chance, Nadia turns her custom R-wing 90 degrees vertical flying between the two remaining missiles with barely a meter to spare from each. The two missiles having missed their target veer to reacquire their target but swerve and hit each other exploding harmlessly. Nadia scans out her canopy and sees her savior, a unique starship design that she hasn't seen in quite some time but a welcome sight none the less.

"Looked liked you need some help Lady Skywalker." Says Imperial Knight Core Brightblade in his custom starfighter/walker which he calls the Valorous.

"I'm grateful, Sir Brightblade, but It's Lombardi now. Got married about six months ago." Nadia lines up her shot on her attacker and fires her blue-white bolts of death, finishing the leader of Nessus Squaderon.

"Congratulations. I look forward to meeting your husband and catching up when the battle is over. Good hunting, Lady Lombardi." Says the gallant Imperial Knight as he takes aim again with his Mega Beam Cannon and ends two more members of Nessus Squadron careers. Core's starfighter/walker gives a quick salute towards Nadia's ship and blasts off to aid the Fel Empire Fleet from Annihilator Clbutt Starfighters.

Angel Squadron having gained the advantage thanks to the timely aid of Sir Brightblade manages to turn the tables on Nessus Squadron. Their flight lead having been shot down, Nessus Squadron succumbs to their disorder and falls to Angel Squadron. As the final Rancor Clbutt TIE explodes, Nadia calls over the comm. "Angels form up. The rest of the fleet can handle the scant fighters remaining up here. Commander Lobo is calling for air support down near Sith Temple. Let's give it to him!" Having completed her inspiring but short speech, Nadia sees her squadron being orderly as ever has formed up on her command. Angel Squadron dives towards the atmosphere to aid Lobo's droid buttault force.

3 kilometers southwest of the Sith Temple
Landing Pad J-9

"Fraggin hell. Who keeps an entire Company of soldiers and vehicles on a landing pad? You'd think they knew the Main Man was coming to party." Lobo laughs at his own joke looking at his confused commando droid lieutenant.

"Commander Lombardi did acknowledge that air support would be here momentarily."

"Great, her royal prissiness is coming to steal my fun. I thought Locar was sending down them Demons instead?"

"The Admiral did sir, but altered their orders when the Annihilators began to do suicide runs on capital ships. He felt they could defend them better and let, Commander Lombardi's group handle the planet side conflict."

"Fine, get the princess on the horn. I want to know what's taking her so damn long."

"Roger. Roger." He says while activating the encrypted comm.

Static is heard for a moment before Nadia's melodic voice comes over the comm. "Just coming out of the radio dead zone, Lobo. We'll be at your coordinates in one minute. What kind of defenses are we looking at?"

"'Bout damn time. I've got a Company of those damn newfangled Sith Troopers in and someone got the bright idea to drop about a dozen AT-RCTs and a pair of AT-AHTs. Normally I could handle such a thing myself but you gave me these troops and well, they're getting fragged. We both know how much the boss goes on about losing troops. So how about you get your pretty little butt down here and frag the big guns and let me and my boys take care of the rest!?" Shouts the angry droid as a heavy laser cannon from an AT-AHT makes a crater five meters from Lobo's position.

"Since you asked so nicely."

"Ha, knew if I through in the compliment, you couldn't turn down the Main Man."

"Angels 2, 3 and 4. You're with me to help out Lobo. The rest of you, set up a ten kilometer perimeter around the Sith Temple. I want to control these skies." Hearing her squadron acknowledge her orders, Nadia buttumes a diamond formation with Tom, Will, and Vanessa. "Boys, you've got the port AT-AHT, the ladies will take the starboard one."

The R-wings soar down and open up their blue-white laser bolts on their respective targets and leaving gaping holes in the armor, but the mbuttive walkers keep hammering the ground forces. "That should get their attention off Lobo." Says Captain Paris and he and Tom bank left avoiding the anti-aircraft cannons from the armored behemoths.

"Don't get tallwhackery, boys. Those walkers pack some serious fire power and the Sith Troopers are said to be a combination of Force-sensitives and cybernetics. They will be more accurate than the average trooper. These have more armor than the AT-ATs we've faced before. Proton torpedoes authorized."

The four R-wings perform mirroring banking maneuvers as the two pairs of next generation fighters line up for another attack run. More anti-aircraft fire comes towards the approaching starfighters. Like gracefully choreographed dancers, the four members of Angels Squadron perform simultaneous Aileron rolls, deflecting the laser blaster from the Imperial walkers. Coming out the Aileron rolls, Nadia, Tom, Will, and Vanessa each fire a single proton torpedo. Each pair finishing off their respective AT-AHT in a ball of nuclear fire.

"You're welcome, Lobo." Nadia calls over the comm.

"Yea, you sissy Angels can fight when ya need to. Not as good as the Main Man but pbuttable."

"Such a sweet talker."

"Whenever you get tired of that twig, Tom. Come on and see the Lobo for a good time."

"She won't. She enjoys being a with a real man. My wife doesn't play with toys, clanker." Interrupts Tom.

"Probably for the best anyway. I'm not much of the father type."

"If you boys are done comparing your manhood, I believe there's a battle to be won." An irritated Vanessa says over the comm.

"Well said, Vanessa. Lobo, we'll be securing the skys. Call Locar if you need more air support." Nadia cuts the comm to Lobo off before he can make another retort.

"Nadia the vision is drawing near. The battle plays out in the old council chamber just as I saw."

"What Locar?"

"Cade fights Krayt alone, our Forces are too late. Lobo's forces are still a klick and a half away."
"If he falls, the plan calls for a razing of the Temple area. Open plan Foxtrot-Uniform-Bravo-Alpha-Romeo. Master d'Asten knows the plan, he will have a one minute warning."

The link to Locar dying off, she can tell he is pushing himself hard just from the strain of their communication.
"Eddie feed the Foxtrot-Uniform-Bravo-Alpha-Romeo plan to my screen, please."

Staring in disbelief at the plan titled F.U.B.A.R at the top of it, reading into it.
It calls for all surviving ships to open up on the planet, directing all their firepower onto the Temple and surrounding areas.
Looking further, she is dismayed that all the leaders of this alliance agreed to it especially with it noted that civilian casualities were expected and unavoidable. She notes a side note in the plan loaded from Eddie to her ship that a complete record of all discussions concerning it are attached labeled to her, "That bastard knew I wouldn't agree to something like that."

"What's that Commander?"

"Sorry Vanessa, forgot we had an open mic between us for a second. The Admiral just informed me of a secondary plan of action if certain events unfold."

"How is he holding up ma'am? Most of us feel him, but its not like normal. Every now and than I feel Shal's nudges as well, normally he overpowers her."

"Yes she is buttisting him in the Battle Mediation cycle when his power ebbs and he needs a second. I think he is trying to focus in specific spots when needed"
Leaving unsaid her worry for her longtime companion, she knew he was pouring himself into the cycle letting the Force flow through him like a gushing river than the normal gentle stream.

'How appropriate a plan name, F.U.B.A.R.,' she thinks to herself.

Airspace above the Sith Temple

Nadia glances down at her scanners and note that all flying IF/F signatures are friendlies and smiles. "Angel Squadron, the skies are clear for ten kilometers. Angels 5 through 12, you will secure the skies over the old Senate building. Angels 2, 3, and 4. We'll maintain coverage here. I'll cover the temple, you three monitor the perimeter." Hearing the acknowledgments of her order, Nadia moves her next generation starfighter to monitor the happenings at the Sith Temple.

Nadia takes a stray glance at the Sith Temple when a vision takes her. Darth Krayt is speaking to Darth Nihl on a holoprojector about the status on the battle when he is interrupted by a wounded Darth Talon. She manages to say "Skywalker" when she is telekinectically lifted into the air and forcefully slammed into a nearby wall. Cade enters the chamber, igniting his lightsaber. The legacy of the Skywalkers and the Lord of the Sith eyes meet briefly before the battle to decide the fate of the galaxy begins.

Darth Krayt begins their final encounter by Force Pushing Cade away before unleashing a barrage of Force Lightning. Darth Krayt urges Cade to surrender, as he has become much more powerful than their last encounter, and that the battle was lost. Cade retorts that he has learned many things too, and the two clash lightsabers. Krayt's skill was greater, however, and revealed that by experiencing death, Cade had shown him the technique for Dark Transfer.

Darth Krayt demonstrates his mastery of his newest power by turning it on Cade bring him to the brink of death. The Lord of the Sith revives the fallen Skywalker and laughs manically, buttured that he had succeeded bringing Cade to the Darkside. Returning from the precipice of death, Cade announces that he knows his place in the galaxy. Cade Skywalker, son of Kol Skywalker and Morrigan Corde, then immediately summons his lightsaber to his hand and in a burst of Force enhanced speed, leaps around and pierces his lightsaber into Krayt's heart, killing him, and declaring himself a Jedi.

The vision ending, Nadia takes a moment to orient herself when she notices that Eddie has been trying to get her attention.

Taking a deep steadying breath, "Sorry Eddie. I'm fine now. Thanks for taking over while the vision took me." Nadia turns her attention to the Force, an absence alarms her. Reaching out through the Force to her oldest and dearest friend, "Locar?" Not getting any response, Nadia pulls up Shal's comm channel. "Shal, is Locar ok?"

Assured that Summer will ensure Locar's survival, Nadia turns her eyes back to the scanners. Several groups of temple support crews have managed to evacuate from the various landing pads around the Sith Temple. Nadia not sensing any Sith among the evacuees orders her squadron to let them go. She has seen enough unnecessary blood shed this day. Flying high over landing Pad P-2, Nadia's scanners pick up a single person moving towards the lone Sigma-clbutt long-range shuttle.

"Eddie, zoom in on that person moving across that landing pad.

Dwop beep. Scanners zoom in on the person.


"Look who it is, Eddie."

Wrrrooo woooo.

"No, I don't intend to disobey Locar and land the ship." If a droid could sigh in relief, Eddie would. "You will land the ship."

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?

Lt. Artemis Vorthos as spent the last ten minutes making his way back to where the "Angel of Death" was last known to be located. Flying low to remain obscured to the enemy scanners, the damaged TIE is able to move undetected like a predator in search of it's prey. Trading speed for maneuverability, Lt. Vorthos approaches the Sith Temple District. "There she is, all alone. Save for three others about ten kilometers out, it's just her and me." His scanners then begin to show a most unexpected move from his adversary. "What the hell is she doing? She must be mad! Wait she's heading towards a landing pad. There's another there, heading to ship." Adjusting the scanners, Lt. Vorthos sees who the "Angel of Death's" target is.

"Darth Talon, the Emperor's Hand herself? If I can aid her in killing the Jedi witch, she'll reward me. Perhaps I'll even get some of her "personal" attention." A sick, twisted, lustful, power hungry grin appears on Artemis' face. Pushing the ship beyond it's current limits due to the damage, Lt. Vorthos flies hard to achieve the position high above to strike, regardless of being spotted by the other ships. Briefly he glances at his scanners seeing them moving to intercept but knows they'll be too late. The targeting computer achieves a lock upon his most hated target. "FOR THE EMPIRE!"

"Calm down, Eddie. This is something I have to do." Silence comes from the speakers. "I'm going down there Eddie. Now I want you to take control after I leave the ship and land on the landing pad. Keep the engine hot and the shields running. No matter what happens, Darth Talon does not leave in that ship, got it?"

Nadia takes her helmet off and stows her helmet in the small compartment under her seat followed by a moments meditation to clear her mind. Lining up her ship one hundred meters over the landing pad between the running Darth Talon and the lone ship on the landing pad, Nadia turns the ship upside down and opens the tallwhackerpit. When she unbuckles her restraints she plummets like an arrow, hair whipping in the wind. Just before crashing into the landing pads walkway, Nadia flips over drawing her lightsabers and with a small nudge of the Force, pushes the kinetic energy, which would have killed a normal person from the fall, into the platform. Nadia's hair falls back into place perfectly as she ignites the saber in her left hand. A golden beam of pure energy pulses from the lightsaber constructed by Valin Draco so many years ago before his fall to the Darkside. Turning her head towards the now stunned Sith Lord, "Darth Talon, I presume." Says the Jedi Master as a statement instead of a question.

The memory of his sister forcing his hand to grab the lever, only to hear another metal stress fracture within his dying ship as he pulls the lever up out of its moorings in his hands.

"NNOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I've failed them all even my sister.

The sudden decleration without any inertia dampeners slamming the young pilot against his seat restraints the ejection lever flying from his hands into the tallwhackerpit window spidering iit.

What now?

Than he realizes he is graspes that he is held fast scant a kilometer above impact into the various walkways of Coruscant. He even catches sight of another ship grabbing the shuttle he had slammed into. When his comm channel comes alive over the open channel.

"Rancor Clbutt Pilot, this is Airmen of the Dragon Confederacy Med Lifters. We ceased your momentum but our scanners indicated you have a comprised hull so we can't put you into a low safe orbit for keeping. Anywhere you want to be dropped at?"

"Good day to you Lt Vorthos, we'll make sure the Admiral knows we made you a wedding gift to your sister.

Coming to in the medical bay of the Sentinel, he sees Doc K checking several panels of other injuried patients.
Struggling to sit up on his elbow he is instantly aware of the hand pressing him back down.

"O no you don't mister, you pushed yourself way to hard. I be damned if your getting out of that bed. The battle is won, there is no need for you to move from there," the stern voice says as she pushes onto his chest.

Recognizing the voice of Summer Tan, smiling, "Summer the beds are need for other wounded not me. I'll be fine," even as he struggles to pull his feet off the bed.

"Master Locar, it is not advised for you to move to quickly." The fustration in the droids voice evident as he deals with the influx of paitents.

"I'll be ok Doc K. Summer will keep an eye on me. Won't you dear," as he puts his arm around her shoulder. "The bridge take me to the bridge."

"I told Daveron there was a way to counter attack that move."

Rubbing her sore jaw briefly, "Glad I could be of service. Are you ready to pay the price for that?" Sneers the Sith Lord.

Smiling, Nadia resumes a defensive stance. "If you spent half as much time fighting me instead of talking, you might have won by now."

Growing enraged, Darth Talon calls upon the Darkside of the Force, enhancing her strength and speed. The Emperor's Hand moves like lightning reengaging the young Jedi Master. Talon's lightsaber becoming a blur of speed. Red death seeking to end the life of the impetuous clone of Leia Organa-Solo. Nadia seeing the rage burning in the eyes of the Sith Lord, readies herself for the real fight to begin.

Talon comes in low seeking to wound her prey wanting the smiling Jedi to suffer before she finishes her off. Nadia barely gets her golden lightsaber in line to block as Talon seeing that this won't be a quick fight goes into a series of aggressive routines taking full advantage of her Darkside enhanced speed. Nadia feeling the pressure like never before, keeps her calm managing to block every attack but never finding an opening to attack.

Darth Talon begins to use the unorthodox attacks that made her so formidable when she faced Shado Vao and Wolf Sazen simultaneously. Leaping, tumbling, and flipping in every conceivable variation, Darth Talon after a minute of constant motion and attack from a multitude of angles manages to get a grazing hit on Nadia's right shoulder. Gritting her teeth through the pain Nadia continues to block the lighting fast attacks looking for an opening, any opening.

"You're slowing, Jedi. It's only a matter of time before your guard slips and I taste sweet victory." Taunts a viciously smiling sultry Dark Lord.

Blocking a series of lightning fast attacks, Nadia replies. "Wrong. You're relying heavily on the Darkside. Soon you will feel it's toll upon your body and soul."

Performing a Force enhanced twisting somersault over Nadia, Talon lands and lands another grazing strike on Nadia but on her left thigh. "The Darkside is power. But you will never know it's seductive embrace. You die now!"

Darth Talon thrusts her hand at the wounded Jedi sending a pounding blast of Force energy at Nadia. Nadia reflexively puts up her sabers in cross guard but Talon has tapped into a direct conduit of the Darkside and over powers the Jedi blasting her back five meters. Nadia lands hard on the landing pad skidding to edge face down her light sabers rolling away from her grasp but not falling off the walkway.

Hearing the Jedi groan in pain, Talon licks her lips as she stalks her prey like an agra preparing for the kill. "You were foolish to face me. You friends may win the day but they will not celebrate that victory with you. I will send Cade your head for what he has done to my Master. The Sith shall rise up again and I shall have my revenge. But you will never see that day for you will die here, unable to prevent it.!" Darth Talon laughs and jumps high adding gravities pull to the final blow she intends to deliver to Nadia.

The ringing finally subsiding, Nadia opens her eyes and turns to see Darth Talon with her crimson lightsaber descending toward her. Realizing she has dropped her lightsabers and no time to summon them back to her Nadia thrusts her hand up, calling upon the Force, the lightsabers crimson blade stabs into Nadia's hand. Talon feels the blade sink in but the moment of victory is stolen as she realizes that Nadia is absorbing the lightsabers energy. Bracing her feet, Talon tries to add more pressure knowing that the Jedi can't hold this level of concentration forever. Feeling her concentration wavering and seeing the sick grin on Talon's face, Nadia calls upon the Force and drains the Dark Lords lightsaber. Seeing Talon off balance, Nadia sweeps her legs tripping up the twi'lek. Talon lands hard on her back as Nadia kicks up to a standing position and calls her lightsabers to her hands, activating them over the prone Sith Lord with the blades crossed just above her neck.

The stars clearing up as her body begins to feel the strain she's placed on it, Talon sees the silver and gold blades hovering just over her neck. "Finish it." She spits.

"Master T' Asten would kill you, but I sense good in you Talon. Cade once told me you were born Sith. That you have never known a life that wasn't following the Sith doctrine. You never had a chance to be anything else."

"Your compbuttion makes you weak. Give me the dignity of a warriors death. Placing me on trial for my 'crimes' will only be a joke of a trial. A show to give the mbuttes that blood they crave."

"I can give you a chance to learn the ways of the Lightside. Surrender to Dragon Confederation and you will treated fairly."

"Fine, if you won't kill me then I have no choice but to KILL YOU!" Talon unleashes a fury of Force Lightning calling upon her dark reserves. Nadia manages to rebuke the torrent of dark energies into her lightsabers. Talon pours everything into the lightning as Nadia begins to feel the strain knowing that if Talon maintain this attack any longer it will overwhelm and killing her. Nadia calls upon the Lightside of the Force and uses her most powerful technique. Nadia severs the Force from Darth Talon. The barrage of lightning ceases with a confused look from an exhausted Talon. Nadia rushes in and attacks with the hilt of her lightsaber knocking the Sith Lord unconscious.

Taking a deep breath, Nadia deactivates her lightsabers and places them back into their scabbards. Pulling up her comm unit. "Sentinel this is Commander Lombardi, would you send down a shuttle to Landing Pad P-2? I have a prisoner that needs transport." Says the young Jedi Master as she places binder cuffs on the unconscious Sith Lord.

Nadia smiles warmly as she checks her radar and sees that all three members of her wing are intact.

"Don't worry Rico. Nessa came through the fight just fine. I can make sure she gets some R&R when we dock with the Sentinel if you want." The knowing smile evident in her voice.

"Our time can wait till we get back to the Dragon Ma'am. The prisioners we have will have a priority ride back."
"But a week off would do wonders to rejuvenate these old bones."

Smiling to herself, "I'll see what I can do about some R&R when we return than."
